I’ve been spending my time cross the county line, under the hood with a friend of mine,
Reading between the direction signs, it’s time to make that engine whine.
It’s for lane blacktop looking back, heading down that glory track,
Running the lines like a quarter back, its goodbye defence Hi attack.

Now it’s ‘four on the floor’, not ‘three on the tree, with white wall tyres and a bucket seat
Air scoop singing like an old banshee, aint’ no finer place to be.

It’s whack shack ready you can ring that bell, and red light running’ is its wishing well.
